Not happy- after receiving it, I set the clock and turned on the radio. great. turned on the weather band, and then the radio wouldnt shut off. I had to pull the batteries. A few hours later it seemed all right, but locked up again the next time i pressed the weatherband button. Then it wouldnt shut off, and I couldnt even set the clock, which was blinking. Three sets of batteries and still the same.
This is why I usually buy from a local store instead of online. Im stuck having to send it to sony and wait.

This radio is awesome! It picks up every station and sounds great. Seriously worth the $50.

For such a small package this radio provides terrific sound and lots of features. I wish it did include an optional AC cord, but, then, it wouldn’t be a shower radio if it did!

Although the sound quality of the radio was good, I found that it ate “C” batteries voraciously. Granted, I was using rechargeable Ni-MH batteries so maybe it doesn’t work well with those, but I’ve used the same batteries in other devices without any problems. It was so bad that every time I turned on the radio it needed the batteries changed. Compounding the problem was the lack of a wall-plug (I was using the radio in the bathroom but not directly in the shower), and the fact that all the channel presets were lost when the batteries died. Ended up returning the item.

I was disappointed in this radio. The antenna does not do much for it; it is very noisy with static; it only pulls in 2 or 3 stations.
I don’t feel this radio is worth the money I paid for it.
Maybe it is just my location but it just does not work well for me.
