This unit has a great idea behind it — small footprint, attractive design, plays CD and IPod. However, the sound quality is of that of a small clock radio — tinny and very thin. I would not buy it.

There are many types of devices for the iPhone on the market. I gave this one as a gift and the recipient seems to be very pleased with my choice.

Like the big bold display and the ability to integrate it with ipod touch/iphone, decent speakers. It appears that you can only display the day and time on the clock at the sametime and not the date which is kind of a drawback for me.

I like the interesting look and that it will charge your Gen 4 Nano. However, sound quality is very poor and the display is way too bright at night for use on your night stand.

I bought one and had some minor problems with it: the auto time set function didn’t work and sometimes when I dock my iPhone, I’ll get a little message that the device isn’t made to work with the iPhone. Also, the sound was a bit distorted.

But because I loved the design of this clock radio, I returned it and got the exact same thing.

Well, guess freakin’ what?! It had the exact same problems. I’m paying for the auto-set and Sony sound and for the convenience of not having to fight with the thing to listen to my iPod and I want all of that to work!

This one is going back. I’ll get something else.

What a pain in the neck.
