I received this radio set it up and started using it seems like a very nice radio until, it vibrated off of a glass shelf.

I used it in bath room about 6′ from the shower. It fell off the shelf and the batteries fell out and the door for the batteries feel out. The door was damaged the tab to keep it on broke. It has to be taped on now.

I sent an Email to Sangean, I wanted to buy another door. I received a response next day and it said send $6.00 for the part. So I sent it .

Next day I receive a Email saying to send the radio and $8.00 and they will fix it. (turn around time 2 or 3 weeks.

I had sent the $6.00 for the door still no word. They have not cashed the check.

So I would not give them any more sales.

    Buy a Sony instead.

After waiting a month, I received the wrong part.

They can fix a problem by just putting rubber feet on the radio.

Needed a small radio with good reception for the bathroom and kitchen. This radio has very good reception without static interference. Have not tried it with batteries yet because we have space near an outlet in both rooms. It is a pleasure to listen to without all the static and the tuning is great. The clock time is a little difficult to read from a distance, could be larger and brighter.

The digital clock on the radio is too small and is hard to see. The FM stations do not come in as well as my very old radio that I was trying to exchange for the new radio. I now need to keep my old radio until I find another radio that will meet my needs.
