I bought this portable CD player for my boyfriend for his use at work. It is still working (he’s rough on things), so obviously it’s very durable, and the sound is high-quality. Best price I could find on Amazon.

Not a huge “boom-box” and has nice sound..haven’t had to operate on batteries, so don’t know about battery life.

The first unit I received was defective. If anyone has a problem with buying on line, Amazon.com makes the buying and return process easy and fool proof. I returned the unit with no cost to me for shipping and ordered a new GPX CD, AM/FM player/radio. This GPX unit works to my complete satisfaction.
