This little radio works great. It hangs nicely on my shower curtin rod and the station comes in with no problem and the volume is terrific. Of course, I didn’t get the batteries they offered.

Ordered this for my husband and it does not work. For some reason it does not pick up anything other than one foreign radio station.

    Will be returning this.

I previously had 2 other shower radios, each which lasted me about 3 years. I bought this to replace the last one when it stopped working. Big mistake. The volume was either too quiet to hear or unbelievably loud. And I could only get one station to come in. Unfortunately I don’t speak or understand Spanish so the fact that the only station that came in was the Spanish station made me unable to use this at all. I bought it from a major retailer and when I went to return it, I took it out of the bag and didn’t have to say anything to the cashier as she had the same radio and had the same problems with it. Shower radios cost more than regular radios for a reason so don’t think you can get one that works for $10. I will not make this mistake again.

Well, I’d like to have been able to write a good review, but unfortunately I ordered this in November as a Christmas gift for my 13yr old daughter and it came in one of those impossible to open clear plastic containers that requires scissors (or a hacksaw) to open.

Because of this I decided to just wrap it without opening it so she would know it was new. Well here we are on Christmas Eve and I let her open “one” gift early. Turns out, however, this gift was broken on arrival. I don’t mean “damaged in shipping” broken either, I mean arrived in perfect packaged condition, just simply does not turn on even with new batteries.

And since I ordered it 40 some days ago ……. no more return ability either =(

Good thing it only cost ten bucks and shipped free, but all I can say is good luck with yours …. if you’re a gambler!

(oh, and Merry Christmas to all!)
