Item had limited band which would not receive major stations in this area. Also clock portion did not work. Item was returned.

I was hoping to replace my current AM radio with something that had incredible reception and could finally pick up the AM channels I have been unable to get. This was a big disappointment. Had to return it and stick with my little inexpensive Sony, as bad as that reception is-it’s still better than this!

I too had the same volume problem. Low volume was too low and when the volume was turned up 1 notch, it was too high. Otherwise a good receiver.

I just returned this radio to C.Crane as defective. This radio is so close but never is just right that it’’s very frustrating to own and use. I’m very disappointed that it’s just a bad deal overall. This radio is….”All hat and no Cattle” to be sure.

I thought C Crane made very good radios, but when I got their SWPocket Radio, I was disappointed. There is a lot of bleeding on the FM band, especially from two Johnstown area stations. Reception on both bands is not as good as the Eton E10 radio I already had. AM reception will likely be better at night, but overall, I am not as happy than I expected when I ordered this radio. I will probably look for another portable radio here at Amazon when I build up some more money.
